DePaul University는 Illinois 주 Chicago 시 에 있는 사립 로마 가톨릭 대학교입니다. 1898 년 Vincentians (프랑스 선교 수도회 회원) 에 의해 설립 된 이 대학은 17 세기 프랑스 성자 Saint Vincent de Paul에서 이름을 따 왔습니다. 1998 년에 재학생 수 (23,000: 2016 기준) 에서 가장 큰 가톨릭 대학교가 되었습니다. 창립자의 발자취를 따라 DePaul은 불우한 배경의 학생들과 사람들을 모집하는 데 특히 중점을 둡니다. DePaul University 는 미국에서 13 번째로 큰 사립 대학이고, Illinois 주 에서 가장 큰 사립 대학입니다.

DePaul 대학의 두 campus는 Lincoln Park 와 Loop 에 있습니다. Lincoln Park campus 에는 Colleges of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Science and Health, and Education 이 있고, 또한, School of Music, Theatre School, 그리고 John T. Richardson Library 이 위치합니다. Loop campus 에는 Colleges of Communication, Computing, 그리고, Digital Media, Law, School of Public Service and the School for New Learning dl 위치합니다.
