1. Graduate applicants are not required to submit letters of recommendation, with the exception of Composition and Historical Performance.

Letters of Recommendation for Doctor’s Degree Applicants

• Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation.
• Letters should address the applicant’s academic and performance potential for the DMA program.
• Juilliard strongly prefers that letters be submitted through the online application system.
